Get Ready!

Packing Packing Packing! It's time to get ready for our flight to my hometown, Alex. I'm really excited to see everyone including my friends which i haven't seen for ages!!! A week from now I could really consider it as summer time where i get to see my family, enjoy family gatherings, and THE BEACH! Fly safely everyone. I hope you'd have a great summer.

Back!

Wow now that was a long break!! I haven't written since ages! Well here it says 5 weeks which is more than a month! I was really busy studying for my exams. It really was a hectic time for me and guess for all of us, including teachers. Day after day all we do is study,correct,study,correct and etc. However after all thanks God we finally finished our first year in IGCSE. I learned a lot and went through a lot too. I admit,"I'll miss school." However i won't really miss studying only my friends. I was saddened to hear about some of my friends and teachers never coming back again. With all the ups and downs this year, there were favorite moments that i used to spend with each. I hope , even if they won't be in the same school, we'd all meet one day and I'm actuallly looking forward to planning for this. However, it probably would be next year. I was delighted to hear from my supervisors that she'll meet our old friend next Sunday and whoever wants to write her or send her something, they could give it to the supervisor and she'll hand it to her. I find it really great to finally communicate and send gifts to people you haven't seen for ages.

Activty, Activity, Activities..End!

So we're having this business activity that would add up to our thoughts and imagination. It's about thinking with your team of a small model of your invention or creation. I've searched on internet and willing to go through surveys to get more ideas. Till now, we've came up with a small idea but we're still not really sure of it; i'll talk to you about it as soon as I can. Whenever we have an activity, I'd be fascinated by the team work and the series of feelings , as i call it, we get through the activity. Eventhough as an IGCSE students we son't really get much time to do something in our pastimes, I'm glad we were able to set up some. The poetry jame, treasure hunt, and the business activity were memorable this year. In my opinion,i think they were even more than being educational. Unfortunately, i was disappointed to hear that since the year got to an end, the English Club will no more have aby activities. It really was a working site for most activities.

Shattered Thoughts!

Am i the only one feeling this right now? How bad is it to dream and IMAGINE and hope the best of something and then just in a sudden for such a strange things our dreams and hope anre shattered? For the past few days my friends and i have been planning of the great trip to the beach that the school organized for us. I was recieving several messages and e-mails for what we're going to do there and though out the whole thing we were so excited. Suddenly, a problem caused by other students resulted in canceling the whole thing just 5 minutes before reaching there. Above all, we were the ones to blame although we believe that what ever has been said to us was WRONG. How unfair it is to blame someone for something they had nothing to do with it. Eventhough since kinder garden, they have been teaching us to never blame someone before having a great evidence for what they've done. Why is it that everytime we all try fixing what's around us there's always those that spoil it? I wonder when will it stop..

Did I miss anything?

Our two weeks vacation is about to come to an end. I've been thinking this whole time about anything useful to do in my pastimes beside socializing. I've been always eager to learn new things as an example about a culture,language, or things to help me in my future; and so i decided to learn German. Pretty weird but i find it interesting. By this, i might even study little about how people live there and things they are used to do. Sometimes when i sit alone and try to rmember what i read and studied yesterday, for example, i find myself fogeting things. That's why i should always be practise and review my notes. As people say " Practise makes perfect" and that what i think everyone should do while learning something. Evenif you're an expert at smething i'm sure as time passes if you didn't practise it, you won't know your weak point and enhace or improve it. I'm wondering what you guys have done through out the vacation? Looking forward to seeing LISTS of things you enjoyed in your pastimes and also seeing you on Saturday. :D

So much to change and talk about!

Well, i don't really know from where to start. A lot happened in the past few days. Firstly, last sunday we had this great activity the English Club set up for us. Although our team didn't win i was really happy of the group work and in my opinion it was educational as we had to think together to find where the clue will lead us to. I loved the idea as we had to find a clue think about out and sometimes to go from clue to another you had to do something with tou your team. Once we had to drink pepper dissolved in water. At the beginning, i was like, " No i can't drink it. I'm sensitive to spices." However, i took the risk and it really wasn't that bad. Secondly, people are posting videos, essays, and write in blogs about this guy named Joseph Kony. He's a really cruel guy that kidnaps children, even at the age of 3 or maybe even younger! He then forces them to kill their own parents and changes them from innocent children dreaming of proper education and a good life next to there beloved Parents to boys and girls that kill people and spread anger everywhere. The problem is that WE DON'T FIND AN AIM TO THIS! It's like he's building an army to kill people and he threatens them to kill them if they don't obey. While watching the video about the project their doing i thought and said" I Should Participate and Have A Role In This!" The project is to let everyone to know who's Joseph Kony and what he's doing. If we spread this all over the world, we'll be able to have a grip on him easily. The project is named'' Kony 2012". Since 2002,polices officers and FBI have been trying to catch him but they couldn't. Maybe they need our help and that's why i ask each one reading this blog to spread this for everyone to know and save these pure souls that are turning into something they wish they weren't.

Long Time No Talk!

Dear friends,
I'm sorry i haven't written for ages. I was busy trying to add some thoughts to the coming event at school. Well, i can't tell you anything know but i promise to tell you more details at the right time.

For the time being, there's no much to write about. However, i wanted to make sure that yu're all fine. These days life is moving like a rollercoaster with many ups and downs. A noticed how a lot if things around me are changing and i just can't find an explaination to it, starting with the sudden change in weather. As an opinion, the weather is really cold these days. For the past few months we used to hear people saying, " the forecasts stated that on wednesday it will rain." And when wednesday comes we sit at class waiting for the teachers to tell us that we should leave. We dreamt of that day to come! Wind passes by, few drops might fall, but no rain! I admit that the weather back these days wasn't that cold as these days or maybe it's just an opinion. I hope a day would come this year and our dream comes true.
For, everyone wishes for some rest through weekdays.
On the other hand, i enjoy spending some time with my friends there. School would've been perfect if we had free sessions from time to time. I also love it when teachers engage us to the lesson and tell us a story or an event that happened to them.

So, as i said i don't really have something to say other than that but i promise you 2 weeks later you'll read about the coming event and its details. I'm sure you'll say " i wish we were there" ;D

Big Day! :D

Hey Everone :D

I know i haven't written for ages but this week we went through a lot, starting with report card and ending up with my birthday last Monday! I always dream of that day coming, my birthday. A lot think it should be a normal day and it's ridiculous to celebrate it. However, in my opinion, it's a really great day.

For those who don't accept the fact of how it should be precious to everyone..have you ever thought that ,for example, 15 years ago God ordered and said it's your time? Time to be raised and face responsibilities and difficulties? Time for your parents to help you pass to the other side? How great it is to think that on your birth date a new soul was going to step on the ground! Everyday for me has a happy beginning and ending that i should enjoy every second of it, but my birth day should have a special one! Since last Monday, i had been receiving several notification and post of people wishing me a good and happy day and i'm glad for having such great number.

Now i'm throwing a party on Friday. I want it to be the best. Now I'm 15. I've always considered that every 5 years in your life is a new stage, new start, and new chapter in our lives.
We're getting prepared for the big day these days and i hope everything would go just as planned.

Changes...

Since the beginning of this term, we're having several changes. One of them is getting us a new math teacher. As i sit alone, i wonder where's our old teacher and why did she leave? If it was here her decision, it's OK, maybe she needed a break. However, i used to understand properly from her. In my opinion, she was a perfect IGCSE Math teacher although some used to complain at the beginning but i'm sure we all got used to her an miss her now. Well, i don't mean that our Math teacher now is not good. I guess her only problem is that she's slow while explaining and solving but we understand that she does that to make sure we understand. Now our secind problem this term is that our Chemistry teacher's father is in intensive coma. That's why she is in Egypt staying next to him since the beginning of the term. We really feel bad and miss her so much. As much as we want her back, we want her to stay beside her father for he really needs so much care at this point. For all that, we had to visit our principle today and check if she can get us a new teacher to follow up. We felt so much relieved when she said she hired a new Chemistry teacher, Miss. Noura.

Our Fault

Yesterday I watched what happened back there in Egypt because of a soccer. I couldn't believe it when they said," 74 were lost and 74 people passed away." How could this happen because of a soccer match? My writing today won't be just about what happened and resulted from that match. It'll be about how our decisions and actions let us pay a lot and sometimes there's noway to be back. People always go for the easy way to do things and neglect what might happen to them and those around them which could be more than what they'll get. I always wonder how people think, like those thieves all over the wrold. I understand that our standards in life and the way we\re living in addition to a lot of other things around us. However, even if you want to have a better life and a better future for your family, there's always a better way than stealing. Now imagine if one day they got caught, i don't think they achieved there goals. Now that's what i was talking about. Meanwhile he thaught for the time being he's helping he's family and himself but on the long run he left them with no support. The problem is that this is in human nature,to do mistakes due to our dicisions, but i hope we'd realize what we're doing and stop before it's too late. At the end, i hope God would forgive those who died and May Allah be with there parents.

No Comment..

Now that we knew our grades, everyone was shocked, specially me. We all understand that this our first year in the IGCSE system and grades will differ from those we used to take. However, we never expected that much!! I spotted lots of tears today ,and no one was satisfied. I guess now we really understand what it really means to work hard to get a good grade that would satisfy you. In my opinion, everyone should participate in class. As for me, i was really glad that my participation helped me a lot. I guess without the 95% i got from it i'd fail in English or get a very low mark. Everyone should participate in class. By time, you'll find yourself improving because you're not only gaining grades, you're also examining yourself in how much you can express your answers. As an opinion, we should work harder next term and take things more seriously and try our best to achieve our goal.

I Wish It's Endless! :S

Days're passing. I want to have a longer vacation. Eventhough it was sometimes boring, I also enjoyed sitting at home all day on Facebook.I met few friends throughout the week. However, I wished i could meet the whole class and even all i know from all grades. I can't say that i don't miss school, but i only miss breaks and free sessions, guess we all do. I can't wait till  know what did you do in your vacation. Was it fun? Honestly, I hope it would rain on Saturday. It's windy out here and many breezes pass by. Maybe it would one day and i hope it'd be Saturday. If it did i'd be able to see my friends meanwhile we'll take no lessons. Now i feel like an evil person. So, i better go get some sleep after the long day i spent with my friends today. Goodnight everyone :D

I miss my school friends and teachers already. However, i'm glad we finally got our one week vacation. I guess we all need some time to rest after the long weeks we spent in studying.I decided to start writing my activity list for this week. Have A Break!

Finally,I've got some time to write on my blog!! I'm sorry everyone I haven't written since last week. I've been studying for our term exams. The'll last for two weeks. Thanks God we passed the first week peacefully. There's a lot to do. I feel so much relieved when we give the teachers our papers
and like a BURDEN is gone!! I spend most of the day studying and preparing for the coming exams. At the beginning, I felt like i wont control it. We had exams one after another! Until i spoke to our principle if she can give us half day. She understood how much pressure we were facing and gladly agreed. Although we still have exams coming, it's better now than before. I wish everyone luck in the coming test and for teachers in correcting. :D

Trying Something New!

Starting a new year with the coming exams gave me an idea of improving my writing more and more. I remember that night when i was on Facebook and i saw a girl that studies GCSE. I don't really know if it's the same as IGCSE but i guess it is. She's from Blackpool and has exams these days. I thought " Why don't i address a native British speaker and get used of her way of writing". I thought it was great to apply what we learn in schools in real life. I began writing to her starting with introducing myself and telling her about my first year in IG. She seems to be so friendly and helpful. She was glad to help me out and ready to keep addressing me even after the exams.I'm sure we'll get along , and i hope i'd never regret talking her. :)
