Satisfied of Helping!
Today I spent all day doing two things. First, i stayed talking with my friend on Skype that i know since grade four. She just traveled to Canada that summer. I was really upset for her absence in class. Second, i went shopping with my mum. What was really special about today was when i helped that old woman at the mall. I was really glad as i was helping. She was an old woman and i guess she came for a visit to her son and she was lost. She asked me if i can dial up her son's number and she'll talk to him but because she didn't know how to call him. It was amazing to see her smile when she was able to speak to him. I understood today how important it is to help those around you. Although we must take care not to talk to strangers around us, we can help them if we feel they really need our help. Don't turn your back to those in need for your help, and ever say " How will i make sure that my help will change something? It will always stay the same." You never know maybe it will at least make things easy for them.

Days pass and we don't know where we'll be tomorrow. Since childhood, everyone used to ask me '' what do you want to be when you grow up?''. i find it a strange question but as i thought of how useful it could things changed. People have different thoughts and beliefs that's why we have different goals. However, i find something common between us all. You know when you set a goal for your life and you feel your living to get to it. It could be far but the great achievement is when you get to it. This is what we all have in common. It's very important to live for something. By time, you'll improvement. You'll feel it as soon as you pull the trigger to launch all your effort to get there. Good Luck :)

Enjoying a Burden
I can't believe i finished my first story. As an IGCSE student, we had to read a lot to improve our reading skills. So, i went and borrowed a book to read a few weeks ago form our school library. I tried to do this move many years ago, but as soon as i start reading the first few pages, i get bored and return the book back before reaching half of it. This time, i was really glad to finish the whole book! I found the story interesting and full of suspense. I guess this is the purpose of any writer, to engage the reader and make the story or any writing interesting to read. It was called "Freeze Tag". Although it took me two weeks to finish it, I was very proud of myself ,and I wish to continue reading forever. I think it's a burden because, at the beginning, i thought i'll never continue it. Beside, we had a lot of studies to do so i had to add it to my schedule and find it some space there. This is why they say " When there's a will, there's always a way".

Discovering New Skills!
Yesterday i went to visit my friend,Tahani. Just a quickie to let you know although i only met her last year, we are really so close. She's so friendly and energetic that you won't be at a loose end. Now back to yesterday. Tahani and i kept planning for what we'll do once i arrive since saturday, and the firt thing on our list was decortaing a cake! We had to bake our own icing and put the ingredients together. Honestly, i wasn't really sure if i could really do this. I never was able to do anything in the kitchen. I remember that time when i had to bake a pizza for dinner and it was awful. It really looked so weird. However, tahani seemed to know what she'll do. Even Jood, another friend of mine, hesitated at the begining but as soon as we started, she was doing well. I kept watching them until the engaged me into the baking process and i did few things. It wasn't really hard. We were all really happy to see it done at the end and we kept taking some funny photographs at the end. I'll try posting some pictures of our own cake as soo as i can. :)

Disappointment!
I kept thinking all day about what i'll write today. Nothing much happened but i finally finished writing my poem for the poetry jam. I think I've done well as for the first poem, but i wonder what will my English teacher say about it? I've been asking my friend, Mareev, to get me her camera to save the photographs we took yesterday at the trip. I hope i don't lose its cable. It's really valuable for her. As for tests, we got our first writing test grades. I was surprised of my grade. I admit i didn't practice much but i thought i understood what was required from us. Just before getting them my friend asked me," how much do you think you'll get?". Honestly, i thought it's 14 or above which, as Mrs. Hada said, was good. No one gets the full mark. So i felt down as i spotted my grade. I learned my mistakes and that's the most important thing in life so I hope i'd i'd do better next time and good luck everyone with you studies. :D

Beginning :)
My blog's title shows what i'd like to talk about in my first blog. As teenagers, we're always afraid to take a step forward and face what we're afraid of so we always bend towards what's easy for us. However, we shouldn't take any easy path in front of us because not all will lead to happy endings. For the past few days, our English teacher tried helping us to be brave to take decisions and do what we want to do without being afraid of making mistakes. I'm sure we've all heard people saying " It's not a shame to do mistakes. The shame is when we make a mistake, know it,and never try fixing it." . Meanwhile, after all, we must think properly before taking any to avoid them and having troubles.
